Kente yard is not the same as African Fabric/ankara . This woven top-notch quality Kente is not measured like the normal African Fabric/Ankara. Handwoven Kente in “yards” is an estimate and not exact. The Kente strips are joined together to make 2 yards for a piece in three to make 6 yards.
